Thanks to everyone who helped make The Disc! #5 possible!
This fifth issue of The Disc! benefitted from the inspiration and perspiration of a good many people. As always, the CD-ROM Today team labored long and hard to integrate the magazine and The Disc! into a whole that is more than the sum of its parts.
Working their usual magic were James Piper, the assistant disc editor; Amy Pruette, senior art & design director; Hudson Best, associate art director; Carol Ellison, graphic artist; Phill Powell, associate editor; Lisa Howie and Anne Tucker, assistant editors; Irma Swain, production director; and Judy Earley, our production coordinator.
Tim Victor, TechnoVision columnist and contributing editor, programmed the user interface on the PC version of The Disc!.
A special thanks to Gary Todd and his company, Televisual Productions, for taping and
digitizing the video greetings from Lance & Selby.
Another special thanks goes to Matthew Richards, editor of our sister publication, CD-ROM Today, in the United Kingdom; and also to all the good folks at our more distant British 'cousins,' PC Format and MacFormat magazines.
Many thanks to the folks at Disctronics for their support, guidance, and performance in disc replication.
As always, a general and generous appreciation to all of the GP Publications staff in
Greensboro and our expanded operations in Burlingame, CA.
And we continue to receive an exceptionally positive response from the many software
publishers who are helping us to integrate The Disc! with our magazine.
